There are many places that you can go to to look for information - but which sources are the best and what sort of information do they provide information to?

It can be quite bewildering and so this hour long course is designed to give an overview of the main healthcare resources as well some familiarity in using them.

Course objectives

Outline
We will introduce you to a range of information resources. They are the places to go to to find evidence summaries, guidelines, systematic reviews and procedures.

We will see that there is a scale from individual pieces of research through to systematic reviews.

And another scale from information which is very theoretical and that which is very procedural.

We will plot different resources on this axis and then have a quick look at how to use them.
