The Clinical Librarian Service at UHL put research evidence into the heart of the workplace. They attend team meetings and ward rounds to ensure that the evidence is at the heart of patient care and planning.

Literature Searching
The Clinical Librarian team undertake literature searches on behalf of Trust staff. Searches can be submitted by contacting one of the team. You can also see a list of areas covered by the Clinical Librarian Service, and if your area is not covered, you can still request a search from the UHL Library Service.

Evidence updates
Monthly evidence updates are created so that you can keep up-to-date in the latest evidence and information in your area. A list of the available bulletins can be found and you can also sign up to receive them automatically by emailing . Please note this subscription service is available to internal staff members only.

Study days and conferences
As the UK's leading Clinical Librarian service, the team organise the International Clinical Librarian Conference, as well as Clinical Librarian study days, to promote the concept of Clinical Librarianship and to support other Clinical Librarians. Details of future and previous events are available.
